Inici\u00f3 una nueva edici\u00f3n de la Prueba Pastoril Hereford en el campo del INTA Concepci\u00f3n del Uruguay<\/strong>, con el ingreso de 121 animales<\/strong> provenientes de distintas caba\u00f1as. En este 4\u00b0 ciclo participan 75 hembras y 46 machos<\/strong>, que llegaron en excelentes condiciones sanitarias y corporales.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan explic\u00f3 el Ing. Sebasti\u00e1n Vittone,<\/strong> Investigador del INTA Concepci\u00f3n del Uruguay y Coordinador de la Prueba Pastoril, los animales atraviesan inicialmente un protocolo sanitario desarrollado junto a Biog\u00e9nesis Bag\u00f3. Luego, tras 4 a 5 d\u00edas de adaptaci\u00f3n en corrales, se los divide por categor\u00eda y se inicia un primer per\u00edodo de 15 d\u00edas de pastoreo. Finalizada esta etapa, se realizan las mediciones de inicio de prueba: peso, altura, ecograf\u00eda y condici\u00f3n corporal, dando as\u00ed inicio a la competencia.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Se trata de una de las pruebas pastoriles m\u00e1s grandes de Sudam\u00e9rica<\/strong>, una instancia clave para evaluar el rendimiento productivo en condiciones reales de campo y seguir generando datos objetivos para el mejoramiento gen\u00e9tico de la raza.<\/span><\/div>\n

La jura<\/strong> estuvo a cargo del Med. Vet. Emanuel Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong> y cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de la Caba\u00f1a Los Gringos<\/strong> de Facundo Santiago Rizzo y de la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de C\u00f3rdoba \u2013 Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias<\/strong>. Las ventas estuvieron a cargo de la firma Consignaciones C\u00f3rdoba S.A.<\/p>\n
